Hailing from Memphis, Daz Rinko is a name that you need to know. Daz released his latest EP Black Boy Joy in August to much fanfare from NPR, DJBooth, and Noisey . “Maintaining happiness through the everyday struggles that come with being a Black male. Simply striving and exceeding the expectations placed upon us from before we were born,” he says on what the topic of ‘Black Boy Joy’ means to him.
Daz is back with a visual for the title track from the EP, which also contains an EP featured cut Liam Gallagher at the end. The video was directed by 35Miles and includes animation by Andrew McGinnis.
